This Year, We Are Thankful for New Partners

2023 has been a year of growth and expansion for Cura Group, and we're grateful for everyone who helped make it happen.

2023 has been a highly successful transitional year for Cura Group. We have been working hard to transform our business from a local distribution specialist to a global just-in-time logistics partner for businesses that require reliable round-the-clock access to fast-moving inventory. Fortunately, we haven't had to do it alone.

New Technology from SnapFulfil

Cura Group was founded in 2007 to meet the last-mile distribution and warehousing needs of any business that wants a physical presence near where inventory is used but doesn’t have the time, financial resources, or skills to develop and manage real estate on its own. That was a pretty radical business proposition at the time, and, in many ways, our turnkey, fully staffed local distribution centers were a game changer for direct marketing brands that needed a better way to fulfill orders close to where their customers live and work.

But that was more than 15 years ago, long before the introduction of AI-driven e-commerce websites, "BOPIS," drones, lockers, and even e-bike messengers with the ability to deliver goods almost immediately in virtually any neighborhood.

Today, we've made significant progress towards becoming a bespoke logistics partner with all the technology required to serve a dynamic and diverse range of clients in a variety of industries — from retail to aviation to transit — in markets all around the world.

In May, we selected SnapFulFil, a leading provider of cloud-based warehouse management systems, to be our new warehousing-as-a-service partner. We chose the SnapFulfil platform because it is endlessly configurable and has multi-site capabilities with broad functionality, all of which are significant improvements over our old and less-than-reliable order management system. With advanced 3PL management tools and complete inventory visibility, we're better equipped to meet client needs. At the same time, we accelerate the expansion of our own business.

New capabilities from CG Access Group

In June, we announced the formation of the Cura Group Retail Logistics Division with CG Access Group, our new visual merchandising partner. This unique collaboration combines Cura Group's years of experience managing inventory and warehouse operations with CG Access Group's superior knowledge of structural and creative package design, display building, and pack-out services.

Together, we're able to marry the two disciplines of visual merchandising and logistics in a unique solution that streamlines end-to-end supply chain management for product manufacturers, reducing the likelihood that their goods end up in one retail location while their displays end upBentgo Packaging-1 somewhere else. We'll also make sure that your product displays look great, and meet the exacting design specifications for size, materials, colors, and brand guidelines required by each retail channel.

CG Access Group connects manufacturers and brands with leading retailers to help them align their offerings through strategic in-store campaigns. Cura Group offers a responsive, cost-efficient, build-operate-manage fulfillment platform that improves delivery times and adapts easily to changing retail market conditions.

Our shared goal for Cura's Retail Logistics Division is to provide customizable, localized retail solutions that combine state-of-the-art package design, display building, inventory management and storage, and pack-out services — all under one roof.

New markets with the DSIEGA

Finally, in October, we were excited to help launch the Direct Selling International Expansion Global Alliance, or DSIEGA. DSIEGA brings together three great logistics companies — Filuet, Holisol, and Cura Group — in a powerful new partnership designed to help leading direct sales and e-commerce marketers successfully distribute products in every corner of the world — even in markets they've never sold to before.

DSIEGA Tradeshow PosterReady to expand your sales footprint and introduce your brand to new customers beyond your home market? DSIEGA will guide you through the entire international expansion process — from site selection and staffing to import/export strategies, compliance, technology, and local fulfillment and distribution.

Whether you need an automated sales installation with smart vending machines, a fully-staffed brick-and-mortar customer pick-up center, or assistance with mobile commerce and last-mile delivery — DSIEGA can handle all the details. We'll even help you understand the local culture and customs of the people you'll be selling to, so every new market will feel like home.
